The 4 1/2t 6x6 Cargo Truck (4 1/2t 6×6 カーゴトラック Kāgo Torakku?) is a transport vehicle which appears in OVA Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2: The Gravity Front[1] and later, ONA Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance.[2]
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The 6x6 Cargo Truck is a 7m long, 6-wheel transport truck with a loading capacity of 4.5 tons. It is primary used as a troop transport for the Earth Federation Ground Force. Although the exterior is old-fashioned, its cabin is equipped with multiple monitors and communication equipment.[3] In addition, the upper part of the cabin is equipped with an onboard machine gun, which the crew operates manually from the hatch, and various weapons can be mounted via attachments in the rear cargo space. The panel in the center of the tailgate can be deployed as a step for troop use, and it can be lowered to the ground with a movable arm.

- The Cargo Truck has a open turret ring located on top of the right cabin which serves as a platform for the M299 machine gun for anti infantry attack, though its operator is positioned completely outside of the truck and thus vulnerable to attack.
History[]
The 6x6 Cargo Truck was produced in large numbers and they are deployed by the EFGF for transporting troops in the rear across the Earth during the One Year War.
During the events in MS IGLOO 2: The Gravity Front, a Cargo Truck was being toyed with by a Zaku II J-Type that accidentally landed on friendly ground while transporting supplies. It was knocked over by a close shot from the Zaku machine gun, and then being thrown towards an EFF's anti-MS special squad.[1]
In Requiem for Vengeance, the 6x6 Cargo Truck is also active in Eastern European frontline, as it forms part of the roadblock to stop Hailey Arhun's escaping convoy from getting through.[2]
