The 13th Autonomous Corps was a mobile suit unit of the OMNI Enforcer, introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. The unit is composed of the newly developed GAT-01 Strike Dagger, deployed during the First Alliance-PLANT War.

History

This corps participated in the Battle of Porta Panama, when ZAFT attacked the Mass Driver, and the base commander ordered them deployed into the battle. The initial attack by the corps caught the ZAFT Forces off guard, as the Strike Daggers dealt heavy casualties to the GINNs.

Unfortunately, ZAFT deployed its Gungnir EMP devices onto specific drop points where the major fighting was taking place. The resulting blast sent an EMP wave which not only disabled all Earth Alliance military equipment, but also the Strike Daggers of the 13th due to the inadequate EMP shielding of their mobile suits. Following the battle, the pilots of the 13th Autonomous Corps were brutally slaughtered by GINN pilots as revenge for the ZAFT personnel who perished during Operation Spitbreak.
