The biggest difference with the HG Revive is that the transformation is parts-forming. For some reason, they haven't been able to nail down the Zeta transformation on any scale, leaving it with floppy joints. (I personally almost never transform my kits, so I could care less about it). However, some of their most recent transforming kits (RG Wing, MG Kyrios, etc.) have been far more stable, so I'm holding out hope that the MG Ver KA can have a solid transformation without compromising the stability of the kit.
Ver KAs usually push kit design to the limit of what MGs of that time can do. I would say good MGs to start with are the Wing and the newer 00 MGs. However, if you've built RG kits, you can build any MG.
I'm glad some people had a good experience with the MG 2.0. I unfortunately did not. It still is a 16 year old kit. I just don't feel like the articulation and locking mechanisms are good at all.
@SharkChew Sounds like you need some Shackles of War.
If you want to wait and save up, get the Ver KA. The MG 2.0 looks nice but has stability and standing issues. I've built both and I prefer the HG revive. I know some people gripe about having a parts-forming transformation, but I never transform my kits anyway, I leave them in mobile suit mode.
I personally enjoy the part in Endless Waltz where Dekim tells Heero that Relena is with them, and Relena is the only person in the room that knows that won't stop him from shooting.
@Von Tetra I agree about it being a meme to hate it. There's a lot of Seed hate, and I really enjoyed Seed. Sure, there's flaws, as there are in most of the other series, but when I was watching it, I couldn't wait to download.. I mean, legally obtain the next episode fast enough. All this talk has me intrigued that I should go back and give Destiny a rewatch too.
I think I've put this in an older post, but I really felt like the first half started great but it kinda lost me once Kira took center stage. I saw it as the Zeta to Seed's MSG, and Zeta wouldn't have been as good as it was if Amuro took the lead role halfway through. I've lately had the urge to go back and rewatch both Seed and Seed Destiny since it's been 15 years since I've seen both. It sounds like you've gotten a whole new view on the series, but may I ask what was the biggest thing that changed in your opinion of the show upon rewatching it, be it a character or a plot point?

Awesome work! When I saw the metallic Epyon for sale online, I just envisioned a nub nightmare. Yours looks super clean!
Again, depends. If I'm a regular citizen, I trust the Preventers more than I would trust the Titans for obvious reasons. Boring would be good for raising a family, though.

Well, I assume we're talking as citizens. As a skilled pilot, I'd want to try my hand at some of the crazy UC suits, so my answer would be reversed in that case.
Tho I may say, my chances of dying by being pushed out of a plane and shot in midair are much lower in the UC!
Going with AC due to the sheer number or wars and skirmishes in UC. Every few years, it's something.
All I know is I wouldn't want to be either of them.
Can't speak for the Zaku I, though after hearing its praises, I want one now. Hygogg is a fun, unique build and a rock solid kit.
Wufei was given the least screen time and the least development of all the 5 gundam pilots. All 4 other pilots show solid amounts of growth through the series. Maybe the whole point is that he is confused throughout and I'm just missing that. When he showed up beside Dekim in Endless Waltz, it simultaneously made the most sense (none of the other 4 would have willingly joined) and the least sense (the lone wolf who basically needed dragged into working with others and who fights for his own sense of justice becomes muscle for someone else). Again, maybe Dekim preyed on Wufei's doubt, confusion, or guilt over Treize, but once again, he's given little screentime to show why, he just kinda pops up by Dekim. Even his wanting to fight Heero was kinda shoehorned in (I wish seeds would have been planted for this in the series). Glory of the Losers does flesh him out more, and if they were able to do the episode zero content in the show that they were planning to do, it would have only benefitted Wufei that much more. The majority of people just watched the show and don't have the benefit of digging deeper and reading more backstory to see how good of a character he can be when properly fleshed out.

Welcome! I think a lot of us have fond memories of Wing during its original run, and it was a good gateway for many anime watchers in the early 2000s to the Gundam franchise as a whole. I watch Wing in its entirety around this time every year just because for nostalgia. Lady Une, like many secondary Gundam characters, was a great character, and her skeet shooting of General Sceptum is one of my favorite part of the show!
I'm calling it right now though: God Field effect part... P-Bandai
