I'm new to the Gundam universe and I want to build my first model. Are there any beginner models that any of you would recommend?
I second the HG RX-78-2 Revive. Amazing kit and a great start at around 12 USD.
The new 1/144 Leo is a great starter. GundamPlanet.com is a great site to order from and I highly recommend them. They also have some nice perks. They offer discount point 100 points=1$ off, they hold a lottery every 2 months with prizes ranging from a PG kit to 3000 points. They also have the single greatest collection of mr hobby line paints. There nipper is the best I have ever used.
Please checck your local hobby stores first.
I say rx 78-2 revive is great because it’s really hard to mess up
I would recommend a very good nipper like the Tamiya side cutter (slim jaw)....it costs more than the kit, but worth every penny. Have been using it for more than 4 years, still in good condition, creates a blissful feeling when u cut out the parts.
IMO the only cutter u need
Xeron. Tamiya. Godhands.
Stay away from Testors.
If your just starting out get you a $10 nippers don’t go out and get you a $80 pair of Godhands first just Incase you don’t like this hobby
I’m recommending you get anything from the Origin Line, their easy to build and have the best detail for the money your spending for a HG
What do you think?
